This role sits within our in-house architectural design team and will provide the suitable candidate with a unique opportunity to manage live new build and refurbishment projects, from inception and design stage, through the construction stage to completion. Working within the commercial, residential care home, domestic and education sectors.

We are based in exceptional modern offices within a beautiful country park setting, just outside Faversham.

Job Role

  • Client-facing role
  • Responsibility for day-to-day management and progression of numerous projects
  • Developing designs from client briefs
  • Produce and submit valid statutory applications for planning and building regulations including planning statements
  • Produce large-scale technical details, working drawings and tender packages including co-ordination of specialist consultants and specification writing
  • Produce accurate and high-quality outputs
  • JCT Contract Administration

Person Specification

  • Absolute minimum 5 years post qualification experience
  • Relevant Architectural / construction qualifications. ACIAT/MCIAT desirable but not essential
  • High level of written and verbal communications skills
  • Good knowledge of current Building Regulations and planning processes
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Possess a passion for good design and providing excellent customer service
  • Positive, proactive and experienced team player

Job Details

  • Permanent Full-time position of 37.5 hour week exclusive of one hour lunch break - part-time considered
  • Salary - Competitive and negotiable, according to experience
